TOWT is a French company founded in 2011, active in the maritime transport of goods by sail. After operating for around ten years, the company decided to build and operate its own vessels. TOWT’s cargo sailing vessels represent a low-carbon alternative to container ships. Their aim is to decarbonize (-90% CO2 emissions) and de-pollute the merchant navy worldwide by means of sailing propulsion.
