Mainspring
Mainspring is a US company founded in 2010 by three Stanford University PhDs specialized in mechanical engineering. Based in San Francisco, Mainspring is developing a linear power generator to produce electricity that is competitive, resilient, less polluting (without NOx) and flexible.
Our investment
Through our experience in renewable energies, we realized that it was essential to find alternative and more efficient energy storage solutions than those historically developed. We therefore made a co-investment in Mainspring, developer of a promising solution to this storage problem that has already won over several multinationals.
