With the backing of Omnes Capital for 3 years, Ilmatar has developed an important pipeline of windfarms in Finland.
Having gained expertise in the development of new fields, Ilmatar now wishes to strengthen its influence in the energy production value chain by self-financing the construction of these projects. Within six years, the company aims to develop more than 1GW of electrical capacity and to become an important player in the green electricity market in Finland.
Après-demain, cautious of its environmental impact throughout its investments, finances renewable energy projects since 2014.
Sébastien Beth, Director of the Private Equity department comments:
We are pleased to continue our investments in the renewable sector by providing significant resources to a management team that has already proven its ability in the development of new projects with a view of accelerating the construction of ambitious projects in Finland. This should meet the country’s needs and challenges with regards to climate change and carbon emission.
